How I lead

How I lead engineering organizations

The work that defines an engineering leader: building teams, setting the delivery rhythm, and making the technical calls that keep execution reliable.

Team design & capability building

Structuring teams and growing the skills they need to own their work.

Engineering managers & senior IC growth

Coaching managers and senior engineers, and building the next layer of leaders.

Delivery governance & execution rhythm

Roadmaps, release coordination, and a predictable cadence teams can rely on.

Technical decisions & architecture review

Guiding architecture and key technical calls without becoming the bottleneck.

Quality, test depth & release discipline

Raising test coverage, release safety, and the standard for what “done” means.

Stakeholder alignment

Keeping product, business, and engineering pointed at the same outcomes.

Director-Level Engineering Leadership

Enterprise engineering delivery, end to end

My clearest director-level proof point: at Finastra I led mobile engineering delivery for enterprise banking products used by financial institutions in 130+ countries.

Finastra·Senior Manager, Development·2019 — 2026

Distributed teams across Manila & Bangalore

Led Android, iOS, and QA delivery across two hubs — a team of up to 14 — with capacity planning and release coordination.

Enterprise fintech at global scale

Mobile banking products serving banks and financial institutions across 130+ countries, under real compliance requirements.

Governance, hiring & retention

Delivery governance, recruitment, retention, stakeholder alignment, and people development at the core of the role.

Scope: distributed mobile engineering (Android, iOS, QA), knowledge transition from Hungary to Manila and Bangalore, delivery governance, capacity planning, recruitment, retention, and stakeholder communication across product, business, and technology.

Leadership Story

From writing software to growing people, products, and systems

My career started in software engineering, but the work gradually became bigger than code. I moved into product development, strategic partnerships, startup technology leadership, enterprise engineering delivery, and technical operations. Over time, my value shifted from the systems I could personally build to the teams, products, and operating models I could help shape.

Today, my focus is people-centered technology leadership: helping teams gain clarity, build ownership, improve delivery discipline, and adopt new technologies without losing sight of the business outcome.

People Development

Technology leadership is ultimately people leadership.

My work has moved beyond writing code. Today, my focus is on building the conditions where technology teams can perform: clear priorities, stronger ownership, better communication, practical delivery systems, and continuous learning.

01

Clarity before urgency

Teams move faster when the problem, priority, and outcome are clear.

02

Ownership over task-following

Strong teams understand the business context, not just the ticket.

03

Systems over heroics

Sustainable delivery comes from better operating models, not constant firefighting.

04

Learning as a delivery advantage

Teams adapt better when upskilling is part of the culture, not an afterthought.

Practical AI

AI as an operational multiplier — not a buzzword.

Alongside the engineering leadership, I put AI to practical use for team and operations productivity: reducing manual work, speeding up internal knowledge access, connecting fragmented systems, and helping teams use the data and workflows they already have.

1

Business systems

Shopify, Zendesk, Notion, Google Workspace, internal docs

2

Knowledge layer

RAG, embeddings, structured internal knowledge

3

AI workflow

LLM and agentic steps guided by business rules

4

Operational action

Faster support, less manual work, better decisions

Where it helps

Faster support responses
Better internal search
Reduced manual workflows
Improved reporting
Assisted decision-making
Lead and customer workflow automation
